Natural World
Archipelago,
the Island Institute Store, presents a wall of Jean Kigel’s latest paintings
florals and pines. These watercolors and temperas were inspired by Jean’s
travels to Trinidad and by her walks through Maine’s pine forests. Includes in
the florals are white irises, and red rugosas, and a colorful bird-of-paradise;
in the pine series, Monhegan’s Catherdral woods, a pine island on the
Damariscotta River, and the Bowdoin Pines Monday. – Friday 9:30-5:30, Saturday
